Design innovation is a hallmark of Betsy Beaman’s achievements in architecture. With over 30 years of experience Betsy oversees the design of the firm’s projects in all three of their primary market segments – healthcare, higher education and the cultural arts. Her passion for the arts and building form greatly influences the work of the firm and she has won numerous awards for design excellence on a local, regional and national level. Her work has been featured in such diverse publications as Architect, Architectural Record, Interior Design Magazine, Contract Magazine, Healthcare Design Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. She has lectured on numerous occasions and served as a visiting juror and design critic at a variety of colleges and universities. Her projects are characterized by a high degree of creativity and design refinement which is reflected in the firm’s emphasis on innovation and technology. Betsy’s personal interest and involvement in the arts has expanded the firm’s cultural arts portfolio and includes two national design competitions and two contemporary art museums. She is currently President of the Advisory Board of the new Zuckerman Museum of Art and involved with numerous local and national arts organizations including Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta.
