Nemours Children’s Hospital won Best of the Best

We’d like to congratulate our team who worked on the Nemours Children’s Hospital project. Nemours  is a very special client of ours – a hospital built by families for families in Orlando, Florida.  It won two awards at last night’s annual IIDA  Best of the Best gala (Georgia Chapter).  The first award was in the Healthcare Design category and the second was best overall out of 11 categories!

To say that we couldn’t be more proud of our interior designers would be an understatement.  Brenda Dietz and Ina Sherman, part of the core interior design team, accepted the awards and this honor is  just one example of how their tireless work and creativity elevate our firm.

We would also like to acknowledge the other design team members including Gina Coyle (Nemours), Marie Hurst (Nemours), Veronique Pryor, Moses Waindi, Burn Sears, Betsy Beaman, Kimberly Stanley, Rebecca Karlowicz,  Marisabel Marratt, Maita Rivas, Jennifer Wilkinson, Tom Danner, Vanessa Lampe Heimbuch, Sheila Colon, Steve Ferrin,  Chris Bowles, Ron White and Paul Bowman.

It was a privilege to work with our consultants –  including patient-care-team consultants Bowen & Briggs, associate architects for hospital interior design Perkins +Will, landscape designers AECOM (formally Glatting Jackson), civil engineers Harris Civil Engineering, structural engineers Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, mechanical electrical plumbing, technology, audio/visual and fire protection consultants TLC Engineering for Architecture, lighting designers CD+M, medical equipment planners Source Atlantic, security consultants HSJ, kitchen design consultant SDI, elevator consultant Lerch Bates and fountain consultant ADE. And a special thank you to Jonathan Hillyer Photography, without whom, none of these accolades would be possible.
